The path to the Golden Path is as perilous and twisted as any labyrinth. But on this journey, there are many doors that will lead you astray. If you follow all the paths laid before you in these guideposts, it’ll be easy for even an amateur adventurer of your skill to reach Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne’s secret ending (one of two).
The “tunic mountain door solution” is a guide that will help you find the correct endings for the game, Mountain Door. It includes all of the possible endings and how to get them.
In TUNIC, there are two endings: one includes a boss battle, while the other requires players to complete a difficult puzzle that spans the whole game. This second ending is considered a real ending since it concludes the tale in a more pleasant manner.
In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to solve the Golden Path puzzle, open the Mountain Door, and unlock both TUNIC endings. In case you missed any of the more esoteric hints, the tutorial concludes with a comprehensive solution to the problem.
Take Your Rightful Place, TUNIC Ending 1
When you reach the game’s conclusion, you must pick one of the two endings listed on Page 46 of the booklet.
The first is “Take Your Rightful Place,” which is a simple task in which you must beat The Heir boss.
The following are the most significant guidelines for surviving this battle:
- Lunge assaults that are both vertical and horizontal. In this instance, you’ll need to use teleport dashing to avoid her lunge sword blows quickly. In this instance, parrying and avoiding are typically preferable than shield blocking.
- Shockwaves strike. Expect a shockwave to reverberate around the arena after she plunges her blade into the earth. You may either hop over it or use the Barricade charm to stop it with your shield.
- Attacks by a poisonous cloud The Heir will become considerably more hostile in the second phase, when her HP pool has been depleted, and will begin spewing a cloud of deadly gas. With the aid of the Hourglass charm, you can defend yourself against it.
You could also be hit by shards falling from the sky or energy beams, which you can easily avoid by going to the arena’s perimeter.
Keep as much space as possible between yourself and The Heir, and employ ranged strikes whenever possible. You should be able to kill the last boss very soon.
TUNIC END 2: SHARE YOUR KNOWLEDGE
You must complete the Golden Path puzzle and open the Mountain Door in order to access the second alternative ending, which is considered the genuine ending.
To begin, go to Page 47 of your booklet and choose the second ending, which will send you to the Mountain Door, which is now locked. On page 49, you’ll discover the method to unlocking it. Additional suggestions may be discovered earlier on Pages 43-44 as well.

It’s important to keep in mind that you must stand in front of the Mountain Door, but not too near to it. You must also enter the path code rapidly. The code will not work and the door will not open if you take extended pauses.
After you’ve opened the Mountain Door, go upstairs and read the developer’s note. Following that, you’ll watch a poignant sequence, and there will be no boss battle at the end, bringing the tale to a nice conclusion.
