The scorched earth event of November 2021 used to be little more than a running gag among fans, but now it’s become an official feature of the game! But what’s even spookier is that there’s no way to find out when the event is coming—unless you’re one of the chosen few chosen to know! The event will take place on October 7, 2021 at 7pm EST, and to get in the spirit you need to be playing the game. (So, you know, if you’re playing Fallout 76.) If you’re not playing Fallout 76, well, who are you?
You are just 15 years old. You are the last one left alive. You see your parents, brother, sister, and any other survivors you may have had in the past. You see your dog, because he was the only one who could keep you company. You see your house because you still think it’s really there. You see anything you can see. You hear anything you can hear. You see the house burn down. You see the dog run around the remains of the house. You see the survivors, but they don’t see you. You scream for them to help you, but they don’t hear you. You know that’s not how it’s supposed to be. You know that’s not what you want. You know that
Fallout fans are in for a treat this month with the release of the latest installment of the Fallout series, Fallout 76. The game offers the same post-apocalyptic role-playing game (RPG) experience that fans have come to know and love in previous games in the series.
Fallout 76 is gearing up for its Spooky Scorched Halloween Event 2021, which has been given both a start and an end date. It will debut in October and will provide participants with a somewhat different experience than the event in 2019.
Mischief Night – 2019’s Fallout 76 Halloween event – didn’t return last year, as players who continued wandering throughout Appalachia will recall. In 2021, Spooky Scorched will completely replace it, concentrating on shooting uniquely costumed villains as well as trick-or-treating.
The start date for Fallout 76’s Spooky Scorched Halloween Event 2021 has been set on Tuesday, October 19. It will run for precisely two weeks, until Tuesday, November 2nd, when it will expire.
Scorched will be dressed up for the event in both old and new outfits when it starts. While this newfound interest in fashionable clothing may cause you to reconsider killing them, you should not. They’re still as bloodthirsty as ever, and (temporarily) banishing them to the afterlife rewards you with event-specific goods.
“[…] it’s more than just killing a lot of Scorched in costumes; it’s more about collecting specific kinds of candy, and we’re going to enable players to travel to other player camps and essentially trick-or-treat from a special item in the camp,” the developer said in a video update.
- The Spooky Scorched Halloween Event in Fallout 76 will begin on October 19th, 2021.
- The Spooky Scorched Halloween Event in Fallout 76 will end on November 2nd, 2021.
Players will also have the opportunity to dress up in their own costumes, and there’s nothing preventing you from decorating your C.A.M.P. to scare anybody who comes trick-or-treating your way.
That’s all we know about the start and finish dates for Fallout 76’s Halloween event in 2021. In the weeks leading up to the game’s release, Bethesda will most likely provide additional information about Spooky Scorched. In the meanwhile, here’s when Season 6 will premiere.
